44. If I Want to Raise Money at
Class, How Do I Go about it?
You Don't.
A high impact training retreat is not the setting for making investment decisions. CEO SPACE attorneys on faculty help mentor attendees on capital compliance, structure, investment banking and more. Expert meetings with licensed professionals may help CEOs to structure innovative capital plans, including very large optional resources, capital supporter teams, and to provide private one one one professional advice, during the trade show, on a CEO demand basis. Access to proven capital provider firms and individuals for any size requirement are reported from each trade show.
CEO SPACE Graduates have raised millions of dollars over the years in amounts we can no longer track as some of the total sums are very large for individual transaction. Investors attend and some of the investors attending have recently sold their ventures for sizable sums. Hedge fund, private equity funds, venture funds, and wealthy private investors attend CEO SPACE.
Capital results were achieved by CEO follow up over time. CEO SPACE strongly discourages investors from making investments while attending a class. Our policy in this area is restated time and time again via Forum Prep pre-class training materials, during class, again in our written enrollment contracts, and in post class materials "while the class is in session" via class rules and guidelines, and by the legal faculty on site. Investors seeking to spot attractive opportunities are advised to complete independent due diligence following the class, and to proceed in all higher risk venturing ONLY after obtaining appropriate legal and expert advice first. By contract, CEO SPACE is held harmless and indemnified from all member to member transactions.
Investments are rarely made "at" class as legal compliance and due diligence require follow up. CEO SPACE is populated by licensed attorneys who will advise each individual, on legal issues related to the capital questions (with focus groups for your size project from start up to hundreds of millions of dollars) on a one on one basis. Investments are typically made following CEO SPACE trade shows, with third party guidance properly applied. CEO SPACE discovers such investments have been made only after the fact, as we are never a party to the transactions.
Both investors and venture managers appreciate the conservative care taken by CEO SPACE legal faculty on the topic of capital. CEO SPACE teaches "over compliance" to CEOs coupled to best business practices in the current to market regulatory climate. CEO SPACE notes as an educational facility we do not participate nor does CEO SPACE have information related to private dealings of any nature between participants to a CEO SPACE Trade show CEO market. All private deal making is between the CEO participants without any involvement from CEO SPACE.
